Palais Palffy Our house was first mentioned in the 14th century archive files. In the 15th century the Palais was owned by Count Paul Eberhard Palffy von Erdöd and remained property of the Palffy family until the end of the 19th century. In the second half of the 19th century, the palace was renovated along with the historical middle facade. The house was rebuilt after being damaged during World War II, and today is one of the most beautiful palaces in Vienna.A remarkable date for the culture and history was October 16th, 1762 when Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart gave a concert in the Figaro-Saal, together with his sister Nannerl. |
